rankie, Carole, Mark and Graham began singing and playing together as Claydon in 1997, building on Carole and Frankie’s beautifully natural harmonies. Other than Steve joining us to replace Tim, our original bass player, we have all been singing together since then.

Although we have our roots in the British folk tradition, we choose songs that we enjoy singing from a wide range of contemporary and traditional sources and are increasingly adding more of our own original songs to the repertoire. We already have three CDs under our belts, ‘First Fruit’, ‘Roots and Branches’ and ‘Live at Claydon House’ (click here for details).
